Bank branch closures, increasingly isolated staff, and hybrid threats combining physical intrusion and cyberattacks: the banking sector is undergoing a profound transformation in its security risks. Security managers must now consider the protection of their teams beyond the physical boundaries of the branch.
This is precisely the topic ADITEL has chosen for the 35th edition of its Forum, under the theme “Threats to Banks 2026–2030.” These challenges directly concern us. For 40 years, we have been supporting security and safety professionals, including many organizations in the banking sector.

ADITEL Forum, a must-attend event for the banking sector
Held every year, this event brings together security managers from banking institutions, their national representatives, representatives of the French Ministry of the Interior and law enforcement agencies, as well as the sector’s leading suppliers.
The Forum provides an opportunity to share best practices, anticipate regulatory developments and meet key industry suppliers in one place. ADITEL has always fostered a friendly atmosphere that encourages informal exchanges between peers, far removed from overly formal trade shows.
The association describes itself as a “federation of security solutions.” Its members’ roles can often be summed up by the concept of a security continuum, bringing together law enforcement agencies, CNAPS, CNIL and private-sector players. As Franck Géringer, Managing Director of Sotel, stated at the previous Forum: “The security continuum is in the DNA of remote monitoring companies.”
Banking threats 2026–2030 at the heart of the discussions
The theme chosen by ADITEL is deliberately broad: cybersecurity, deepfakes, climate risks and geopolitical tensions. Floods, heatwaves and storms, for example, can disrupt branch operations, as can new requirements linked to the future European regulation on artificial intelligence.

- First, physical intrusions into branches and their technical equipment. Servers, routers and technical rooms have become sensitive targets for break-ins. According to a recent Genetec report, 70% of security professionals already use unified or integrated systems to address these risks. A must-attend event for banking security professionals
Two highlights will shape the two-day event:
- A conference on threat mapping led by General Antoine Creux. A former fighter pilot, former Director of Defence Intelligence and former Inspector General of the Armed Forces, he is now Director of Security at Société Générale Group.
- A round table with representatives from UMS (Union des Métiers de la Sécurité), which federates 115 companies and more than 28,000 employees in the sector, CAMCA (Caisse d’Assurances Mutuelles du Crédit Agricole), and CNPP, a leading organization in risk prevention and management covering security, fire safety and cybersecurity. Its APSAD and A2P certification marks equip many security systems in the sector. Alongside a bank representative, they will collectively explore responses to the sector’s emerging threats.
The Forum will continue with an evening event at the Cité du Vitrail, followed by dinner at Troyes City Hall, in the friendly atmosphere for which ADITEL is known.
