Since its creation, Sérénité 24h24 has continuously evolved its business model, developing new activities and modernizing its technology. The company has diversified its offering to include connected elevators and migrated from a thick-client system to a web interface.
These transformations were supported by Azursoft. Operators have gained in efficiency, enabling the Group to deliver a high-quality service to its customers.
A Major Player in Remote Monitoring and Elevator Telealarm Services
Founded in 2002, Sérénité 24h24 employs more than 120 people across four locations: Strasbourg, Metz, Paris and Perpignan.
Sérénité 24h24 is a recognized specialist in remote monitoring and electronic security. It provides 24/7 services to local authorities, businesses, retailers and the residential sector.
The Group is also an expert in elevator security and telealarm services. It operates an emergency call center and dedicated services for handling, troubleshooting and receiving alerts from elevators and lifting equipment.
Since 2002, Sérénité 24h24 has used the Horus remote monitoring and telealarm software.
A Business Challenge with Two Dimensions
In 2013, Sérénité 24h24 expanded its business. In addition to remote monitoring, the monitoring center began supporting elevator maintenance companies via telealarm services.
These were two distinct activities, handled by two different operator teams, but they required a single software solution to:
- monitor both activities without doubling costs or infrastructure;
- harmonize operational processes;
- ensure unified traceability and supervision.
Sérénité 24h24’s objective was to find a single software solution capable of monitoring and harmonizing both activities, without doubling costs or infrastructure.
The company also had to address significant operational constraints:
- call volume peaks caused by weather events (heatwaves, storms, extreme cold), which could increase workloads by 45%;
- the need to rapidly deploy operators remotely, particularly during the Covid period.
Horus: A Single Solution for Remote Monitoring and Elevator Telealarm Services
To meet this challenge, Sérénité 24h24 relies on the Horus software suite and its multi-protocol alarm receivers:
- Horus: the core business software, unifying the management of remote monitoring and elevator telealarm alerts.
- My eAlarm Manager: a new web-based operator interface (HTML5 thin client), enabling simple and secure remote connections.
- Azursoft alarm receivers: collecting and standardizing all alarm data.
The result is a single interface for managing two different business activities, without compromising efficiency or visibility.
My eAlarm Manager gives Sérénité 24h24 full control over incoming calls and requests. It enables operators working remotely or deployed off-site to connect immediately and securely. total sur l’afflux d’appels et de demandes. Il permet aux agents en télétravail ou déployés à distance de se connecter immédiatement et en toute sécurité.
Tangible Results
- Technological and financial optimization: a single software provider, a single architecture, saving both time and costs.
- Guaranteed service continuity: successful migration from the thick client to the web interface, with no impact on operators.
- Greater flexibility: operators can be deployed remotely immediately and securely.
- Easy adoption: an intuitive, user-friendly interface that teams quickly learned to use.
The migration from the 100% thick-client solution to the new hybrid thick-client/thin-client solution was completed without any disruption to operations. The operators found the new system simple and user-friendly, while retaining all existing functionalities. This evolution has brought a noticeable improvement in our operational efficiency.
