As reported in 2018, the large-scale safety alarm processing experience demonstrates that the technical components are not efficient enough in an environment with complex anti-intrusion systems that combine multiple technologies and streams, thus generate false positives in vast numbers (more than 8 out of 10 alarms received by each central monitoring/assistance center remain “false alarms”).
Thanks to Artificial Intelligence in the field of security, we will manage to:
- Improve the efficiency of information presented to operators from all types of sensors (management of video films, cameras, anti-intrusion systems, access control systems, and fire) to make alarms smarter,
- Optimize decision support,
- Check the veracity of the alert and thus facilitate the operator’s tasks as much as possible.
Marc VAILLANT, Chairman and CEO of AZUR SOFT, stipulates; “The next steps will be applied to other uses such as smart buildings and connected objects. AZUR SOFT’s roadmap in Artificial Intelligence is already full since the first software bricks with Artificial Intelligence will be tested at the end of 2019. The extension of our research in Artificial Intelligence will be done around predictive security. Indeed, we believe that to unify the security of a site truly, it will become necessary to be able to predict an increasing number of events to be able to manage them. “
