Marie-Claude FRASSON

Marie-Claude FRASSON manages the Engineering department of Digital Barriers France, whose aim is to create advanced computer vision software applicable to the Security domain. Digital Barriers France was previously known as Keeneo (successful 2005 INRIA start-up) and was acquired in 2011 by Digital Barriers, a UK company providing advanced surveillance technologies to the international homeland security and defense markets.

Passionate about innovation, Marie-Claude brings over more than 20 years of experience in the field of computer image and professional software design and development. Trained as a computer science engineer, she has previously held various software developer & researcher positions in France & Canada, notably within the Softimage 3D software company (now Autodesk (ADSK), previously Microsoft). Half French, half Canadian, Marie-Claude holds a PhD in 3D Computer Graphics from INRIA (France) and a Master’s degree from University of Montreal (Canada).
